Also because this type of equipment is much more flexible when it comes to doing workouts with them a person is able to target specific areas of their body much more effectively than they can with weight training equipment. As often you will find a certain piece of weight training equipment is geared to working a certain part of the body. There are machines that will work solely on the legs, arms or body, but with dumbbells you have the chance to work on all aspects of your body at the same time.

If you can carry out the exercises in front of a mirror as this will help to ensure that you are using the right methods and form.
